Where To Work

1 Best Coworking Spaces in Brussels

Brussels is Europe's capital β€” literally. It's underrated as a nomad base, overlooked in favour of Amsterdam or Berlin, but for those who find it, the city rewards the choice. This coworking space carries Nomad Magazine on-site.

Why people work from Brussels

Brussels is well-connected, multilingual (French, Dutch, English), and sits at the centre of Europe geographically and politically. It has a strong EU-adjacent professional ecosystem and infrastructure that's quietly excellent. The food and beer are genuinely world-class.

Neighbourhoods & location context

Ixelles is the most nomad-friendly β€” young, international, cafΓ©-dense. Saint-Gilles has a creative bohemian character. Schaerbeek and Molenbeek are up-and-coming. The EU Quarter (around Schuman) is professional and convenient for those in policy or NGO work.

Who Brussels suits

Policy professionals, EU-adjacent consultants, NGO workers, and anyone who wants a well-connected European base that's less loud than Amsterdam or Paris. Those who appreciate underrated cities.

Cost, vibe & best season

Brussels is moderately priced by Western European standards β€” day passes from €15–25, monthly from €150–300. The public transport (metro, tram, bike) is good. Best months are May–September; winters are grey and damp.

Our Story

What sparked the idea? Clockwise started with a simple vision: to transform traditional offices into spaces that feel flexible, inspiring, and community-driven. The idea came from noticing how rigid work environments often stifle creativity and connection. We wanted to create places where people genuinely enjoy working and collaborating. Who’s behind it? Behind Clockwise is a passionate team dedicated to redefining the workplace experience. From our designers to our community managers, everyone shares the same goal, making work feel effortless and connected. What makes this location special to you? Initially, all Clockwise locations were in the UK, but as the concept grew, we expanded across Europe. The Louise location is our second in Brussels, and that makes it particularly exciting. It’s right in the heart of the city’s vibrant business district, yet it feels warm and personal. For me, it’s special because it represents growth and the chance to build a thriving community in a space that truly reflects Clockwise’s values.
