Where To Work

2 Best Coworking Spaces in Budapest

Budapest is one of Central Europe's most liveable cities β€” beautiful, functional, and still underpriced for what it offers. These 2 coworking spaces carry Nomad Magazine on-site, in a city that takes remote work seriously.

Why people work from Budapest

Budapest has a strong tech and startup ecosystem, fast internet, and a cost of living that sits comfortably below Western European capitals. The city blends Austro-Hungarian architecture with a genuinely modern digital economy.

Neighbourhoods & location context

District VII (the Jewish Quarter / ruin bar area) is the most nomad-dense. District V (the city centre) has more professional spaces. The Buda side is quieter and residential. Kazinczy Street and its surrounding area is where most of the energy concentrates.

Who Budapest suits

Culture lovers who also have spreadsheets to finish. Budget-conscious nomads who refuse to compromise on quality of life. Those wanting a Central European base with excellent transport links to Vienna, Prague, and beyond.

Cost, vibe & best season

Budapest offers excellent value β€” day passes run €8–15 (or the equivalent in HUF). Monthly memberships from €80–150. Best months are April–October. Winters are cold but the thermal bath culture makes them bearable.

Our Story

## We help IT humans. We started as an IT startup. We needed an office. We didn't find one. Long story short, now we make coworking spaces for amazing IT humans. Cool, huh? We design 300 kg desks and get to see how teams build their businesses on them. Oh!, we also get to explore abandoned buildings, walk around barefoot and connect with remarkable people. Basically... we are having fun. ## Our mission. To help IT humans and teams grow in a productive environment. We created Puzl CowOrKing to help IT humans and teams make better products and services. How? By giving them a gorgeous place to work from and a supportive community of like-minded people to share the journey with. As a company, we measure our success by how well we achieve that mission. It is the achievementsΒ of our members and the impact that the environment has on their growth that defines the added value of our business model – not financialΒ ratios. This is also reflected in the way our Puzl CowOrKing spacesΒ are made.Β They are not built like common offices. Instead,Β we design them as community environments which foster efficiency, collaboration, and creativity, both within companies and individuals.
