Where To Work

2 Best Coworking Spaces in Ljubljana

Ljubljana is Europe's greenest capital β€” car-free city centre, river running through it, alps visible on clear days. These 2 coworking spaces carry Nomad Magazine on-site, in a city small enough to feel human and functional enough to not notice the size.

Why people work from Ljubljana

Ljubljana is the kind of city that makes you more productive without trying. It's clean, quiet, well-organised, and has solid internet infrastructure for its size. Slovenia punches above its weight in quality of life, and Ljubljana is the proof.

Neighbourhoods & location context

The city centre (around PreΕ‘eren Square and the Old Town) is pedestrianised and beautifully walkable. Trnovo and Krakovo are quiet residential neighbourhoods south of the centre. Ε iΕ‘ka is the industrial-creative quarter with newer workspace options. Everything is connected by an excellent bus network and very cycle-friendly streets.

Who Ljubljana suits

Those who want Alpine and Mediterranean access in one base. Quality-of-life maximisers. Anyone who's tired of big cities and wants to try a small capital without sacrificing EU access or infrastructure.

Cost, vibe & best season

Ljubljana is moderately priced β€” day passes from €10–18, monthly memberships from €100–180. Best months are April–October. The Alps are 45 minutes away; the Adriatic coast is under 90 minutes. The city works year-round.

Our Story

Our journey began in 2023 with a simple vision: to create a space where no one has to work alone. We started as a small, tight-knit group of 25 members in a former factory Elma, a place once famous for manufacturing home apliances. We’ve kept that industrious spirit alive (quite literally!). If you walk through our halls today, you’ll find a collection of original Elma irons on display, a nod to the craftsmanship that happened in these very rooms decades ago. Since those early days, we haven't stopped growing. By expanding our space year after year, we have evolved into a thriving ecosystem. In just two months, we will be celebrating our 3rd anniversary with nearly 110 members. While our square footage has changed, our "Community First" heart remains the same. We aren't just a place to plug in a laptop; we are a strong, connected family that proves we are always better together.
